Trucks and Rail Service
Sapulpa has the unique opportunity of providing both truck and rail service to provide local businesses the ability receive and ship products in the Sapulpa area. Many trucking companies are located in Sapulpa and the surrounding areas to provide freight services coming into and shipping from Sapulpa.
The Tulsa-Sapulpa Union Railway Company, LLC. ( TSU ) is a 23 mile long Class III short line railway. It is one of Oklahoma's oldest and smallest operating railroads. The railway is a switching operation and destination rail carrier of freight, as 60% of rail traffic is inbound to customers on the line, and 40% rail traffic is outbound. Operating along two lines of track, businesses from Sapulpa to Tulsa along our Sapulpa Lead, and from Jenks to Tulsa along our Jenks Lead, have the ability to receive commodities from all over the country at interchange points in west Tulsa via the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad.The railway operates 5 days a week, two locomotives with one shift each, to provide our customers quality rail service in the Sapulpa and Tulsa Metro areas.
